Our latest Hardwear Onsite Vans Rolling Out
We’re proud to share one of the latest Hardwear onsite vans completed at our Melbourne manufacturing facility and now heading out to support work with Zinfra. Each rollout marks the end of a detailed build process and the beginning of real-world use on some of Australia’s most demanding sites. This unit is a solid example of the components, systems and standards we rely on across every Hardwear build.
This van brings together a combination of proven materials and technology, including:
Victron Energy 48V solar system, supplying efficient, stable off-grid power and reducing reliance on generators
Askin insulated wall and roof panels, improving durability, internal climate control and long-term comfort for crews
AL-KO chassis components, chosen for their strength, stability and ability to withstand the conditions typical of remote and high-use environments
Before any van reaches rollout, it passes through a full sequence of assembly and verification. This includes structural framing, internal fitout, installation of electrical and solar systems, application of insulated panels, hardware integration and internal detailing. Once the core build is complete, the van goes through electrical testing, compliance checks and a final inspection to ensure every component is fitted and functioning as intended.
When a Hardwear van leaves the factory, the van is not partially assembled or awaiting additional setup; it is ready to be put to work straight away.
Our partnership with Zinfra continues to be a valued one, and we appreciate the trust they place in Hardwear to supply reliable, consistent onsite facilities across their network.
We look forward to sharing further updates as new vans progress through the facility and headed out to projects across the country.
